Week 2- Recap

Talk about an exciting week! Week 2 came down to the wire, with comeback wins, heartbreaking losses, a couple of early trips toward Pink Shirt Territory, and some teams already making us question everything we thought we knew after Week 1. 😂
Ramzilla 139.62 — Ranchwoods Gmoney 132.66
Coach Yovani could practically taste victory. By Monday, Ramzilla had just a 1% chance of winning, especially after Puka Nacua was ruled out at the last minute.
Then Davante Adams happened. 🔥
Adams exploded for 39.5 points and smacked that smirk right off Coach Yovani's face! 😂 What looked like a guaranteed Ranchwoods Gmoney victory turned into one of the wildest comebacks we've seen, with Ramzilla stealing the win 139.62–132.66.
Never celebrate until that clock hits ZERO!
The Tuck Rule 144.56 — The Pack Addict 143.40
This one HURT.
Emmanuel and The Pack Addict were this close to picking up their second win of the season. But newcomer Luis Felix and The Tuck Rule showed once again that they didn't join Fantasy Squad just to fill a spot.
After knocking off the Champ last week, the rookie made a last-second move and somehow pulled off another victory, 144.56–143.40 — a difference of just 1.16 points!
The Pack Addict had that second win practically in his hands… only to have it ripped away at the final whistle.
Those are the losses you think about while staring at the ceiling at 2:00 a.m. 😭
Dangerous Ed 95.60 — The Mauling 63.50
Somebody check on The Mauling.
For the second week in a row, the offense simply hasn't shown up. This time he ran into Dangerous Ed, who apparently decided he only needed to be mildly dangerous to get the job done. 😂
Ed escaped with a 95.60–63.50 victory, giving us the lowest-scoring matchup of the season so far.
Eddie came into the season confident that this could finally be his year, but if the sub-100-point performances continue, that playoff dream could disappear quickly.
The good news? It's only Week 2. There's plenty of time to turn things around.
The bad news for The Mauling?
👚 Pink Shirt Territory is already appearing on the GPS…
Rallyray92 124.28 — Who's Yo Daddy 86.76
Ohhhh, Champ…
0-2.
Who's Yo Daddy takes another loss, this time getting handled by Rallyray92 124.28–86.76.
And if you know Elias' Fantasy Squad history, there's an interesting pattern developing:
CHAMP ➡️ PINK SHIRT ➡️ CHAMP ➡️ ???
At this rate, we might already know what comes next. 👚😂
Elias better get Danny Michel on the phone and ask for another bailout, because Who's Yo Daddy needs answers FAST!
There's plenty of season left—but the defending Champ is officially on Pink Shirt Watch. 🚨
Javier's Scary Team 115.22 — Tr3 109.18
After Week 1, Tr3 looked TERRIFYING.
He absolutely destroyed Joan 188.46–132.66, putting up the highest score of opening week and immediately looking like one of the teams to beat in 2026.
Then Week 2 happened.
Javier's Scary Team brought Tr3 back down to earth with a 115.22–109.18 loss.
So now we have to ask…
Was Week 1 a preview of what's coming—or was it beginner's luck? 👀
Maybe Javier simply had to remind Tr3 that he's playing with the big boys now. This is Fantasy Squad, not one of those wack fantasy leagues outside of here. 😂
Your move, Tr3.
The End Is Near 136.04 — Jcnano99 97.42
Joan and Jcnano99 are now 0-2 after another tough loss, this time falling to Jafet and The End Is Near 136.04–97.42.
Meanwhile, Jafet is quietly looking dangerous.
His players have been consistent, the points keep coming, and after two weeks he's already making a case that another championship run could be brewing.
But Week 3 should tell us a lot.
The End Is Near takes on Tr3, who will be looking to prove that Week 2 was nothing more than a fluke—and that the monster we saw in Week 1 is still very much alive.
Jafet vs. Tr3. Proven contender vs. hungry newcomer. 🔥
We've already got undefeated teams, winless teams, a defending Champ sitting at 0-2, a rookie making noise, heartbreaking finishes, and multiple managers getting dangerously close to Pink Shirt Territory. 👚
And we're only TWO WEEKS IN!
Week 3… bring it on. 🏈🔥
Since Fantasy Squad kicked off in 2022, the battle between East and West has been dead even.
Four seasons. Four champions. East 2. West 2.
The East’s two championships have both come courtesy of Elias Michel and Who’s Yo Daddy, making him the only manager to bring a title home for the East. The West has spread the wealth, with Jafet Muñoz and The End Is Near and Joan Chavez and Jcnano99 each claiming a championship.
That means 2026 is the tiebreaker.
Will a new team rise up and put its name on the trophy? Will the West take control? Or will Elias once again carry the East and give his side the all-time championship lead?
Of course, championships aren't the only thing at stake. There’s also the dreaded Pink Shirt. 😂
The East has dominated that category—but definitely not in the way they wanted. Brian Hernandez, Elias Michel, and Antonio Lopez Jr. have each finished in last place, giving the East three Pink Shirts. The West has escaped with only one, belonging to Yovani Gmoney.
🔥 SO… WHAT WILL 2026 BRING?
A new record?
A new champion?
Another legendary collapse?
Will the East or West finally take control of the rivalry? Or will we see another season that comes down to the wire?
One thing is certain: every year, Fantasy Squad gets more competitive, more unpredictable, and somehow even more entertaining.
The history books are open. 2026 is ready for its chapter. 🏆
Dear Fantasy Couch,
I’m worried about my husband. He’s in six different fantasy football leagues, and lately his anxiety is at an all-time high. I catch him biting his nails, pacing around the house, constantly checking his phone, and he whispers lineup combinations in his sleep. What can i do to distract him?
-Concerned wife
🛋️ THE FANTASY COUCH SAYS
Dear Concerned Wife,
I’m afraid your husband is showing all the classic symptoms of Advanced Fantasy Football Anxiety Syndrome. Unfortunately, by the time a man joins his sixth league, there’s very little modern medicine can do.
What he needs is a distraction — preferably somewhere peaceful, far away from injury reports and waiver wires
May I suggest a romantic weekend in Napa Valley?
Take him wine tasting. Go to a nice dinner. Walk through the vineyards. Remind him that there’s more to life than projected points. The alcohol will relax him, and wine country will work its magic.
But there is one very important precaution:
Take his phone.
Napa has cell service.
It’s barely week 3 so he shouldn’t need much convincing. And remind him that this trip will be on his tab from the money he makes from his real job.

The votes are counted, and Monday Night Football takes the win! 🏈🌙 That means our next Fantasy Squad Game Night will be on a Monday!
We’re looking at getting everyone together sometime in October or November, with hopes of squeezing in another Game Night around December or January.
And we might add a little extra competition this time… 👀
That’s right—old-school tabletop paper football! Edward won’t be playing; he’ll be the official referee. 🦓😂 We’re thinking tournament-style, and the winner takes home a prize!
