Week 4 - Recap
Which division is more competitive? Which side has the records and the glory? Let’s dig in.
When Fantasy Squad first started, the goal was balance — both divisions had a mix of rookies and veterans. By Season 4, though, it’s clear this league has grown into a full battleground where no matchup is safe and the margin for error is razor-thin.
The East struck first when Elias M2 (“Who’s Your Daddy?”) claimed the inaugural 2022 championship. But since then, the West has completely taken over. Back-to-back titles from Joan C (“Jcnano99”) in 2023 and Jafet M (“The End is Near”) in 2024 prove that the West is not just winning — they’re building a dynasty.
And it doesn’t stop with championships. The West dominates the record books:
Longest Winning Streak: The End is Near (2024) – 9 straight
Most Points in a Season: Jcnano99 (2023) – 1887.68 pts
Highest Single-Week Score: Los Broncos 87’ (2022) – 204.02 pts
Biggest Blowout Win: Los Broncos 87’ (2022) – 120.86 pts
Yes, the East has had its moments — Elias brought home the very first title and Rallyray92 holds the record for least points allowed in a season. But let’s be honest: the West has been killing it, stacking up more records and more hardware.
The West should be proud of what they’ve built as a division. The East? It’s time to step up, shake off the slump, and prove they’re still a force to be reckoned with.
So what’s the call, coaches — is the East ready to rise again, or will the West keep running the league?
Here are this season’s records to beat — once again, the West is leading the charge. Division rival matchups just got a whole lot more intense!

After weeks of struggle, Emmanuel’s ThePackAddict has finally broken through with their first meaningful victory of the season — and with it, they’ve climbed out of the bottom of the barrel. This much-needed win not only boosts morale but also signals a shift in momentum for a team that’s been under pressure since the opening kickoff.
But Emmanuel isn’t stopping there. True to his word from last week’s press conference about “rebuilding and moving forward,” ThePackAddict has already made the first trade of the season. Partnering with Joan’s Jcnano99, Emmanuel sent Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Isiah Pacheco in exchange for veteran tight end Travis Kelce and running back RJ Harvey.
This move shows Emmanuel’s commitment to reshaping his roster with both proven star power and fresh upside. Whether this trade proves to be the turning point remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: ThePackAddict is no longer content with being at the bottom.
It hasn’t been the best season for Ranchwoods Gmoney, and Week 4 only added to the frustration. Things got off to a rough start when Jaylen Warren was declared inactive just minutes before kickoff against Team Tr3 due to a knee injury. The late news left the lineup unbalanced and the team scrambling.
Yovani wasn’t happy, voicing his frustration before the game by firing off a complaint to the Fantasy Squad Commissioner:
"It’s booty that the Steelers withheld Jaylen Warren’s injury and then pulled him 30 minutes before the game. I would’ve had to wake up at 5:30 a.m. to catch this. I appeal to the Commish to let me replace my player — I’ve got my lawyer on standby."
The Commissioner’s response was firm:
"Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do. If we allow last-minute subs after games have started, we’d be opening a can of worms for future requests."
This last-minute inactive proved costly in a lopsided 125.10 to 92.24 defeat. Team Tr3 once again secured the win, showing they’re a solid contender with their sights set on a top-3 finish this season. Next week, they’ll face Ramzilla in a true clash of giants in the West Division.
🎤 Postgame Interviews
“I’m sure Jaylen Warren must’ve hurt his knee again stumbling out from one of the bars in Dublin and the incompetent Steelers front office are covering for him.”
-Yovani| Head Coach
“Good Game, against Ranchwoods G Money! Good game to Yovani and his team. Ramzilla next on the list”
-Elias M3 | Head Coach
Dangerous Ed secures another victory in Week 4, adding to a 3-1 head-to-head record against Elias M2 ("Who's Your Daddy?"). Once again, Eddie proves he’s no easy contender. Elias M2 may have claimed a win over Eddie back in 2022, but since then, victory has remained out of reach.
After a heated exchange of words in the locker room, Dangerous Ed had this to say in the postgame interview...
🎤 Postgame Interview
“¿Quién es tu papi?🤫”
-Eddie| Head Coach
“I think we all agree that Ramzilla has been terrorizing us for too long now. C’mon Joan, slay the beast and avenge us! ☠”
Those were the rallying words of Coach Yovani, cheering for Team Jcnano99 before Ramzilla pulled off a nail-biting Monday night victory. With the win, Ramzilla marches forward, extending their perfect record to 4-0 this season.
This marks the fourth showdown between Edward and Joan, with the victory evening their head-to-head record at 2-2. Their next season matchup will be the ultimate tie-breaker.
N8 🐶 is the quiet one of the group — the perfect reminder that football doesn’t always play fair. Since 2022, he’s been a model of consistency, always near the top. He even shares the record for most wins in a single season (11) with Joan, yet the ultimate prize has slipped away time and again.
A true giant of the East, N8 doesn’t say much, but as the Spanish saying goes: “The dog that doesn’t bark, bites.” In other words, it’s the quiet ones you have to watch out for.
Just as the world knew Messi was destined for a World Cup, it feels like N8 is destined for a championship. And this season, The Fantasy Squad Weekly is putting its money on him — not just as a contender, but as the East’s best hope to go all the way.
